At GVA, we’ve always believed that honesty and integrity aren’t just values — they’re the foundation of how we work, lead, and serve our partners and investors. That’s why today’s news is significant.

It’s good to finally see these allegations against GVA Property Management and myself put to rest. What began as a claim constructed on altered internal documents — designed to suggest wrongdoing — has now been shown for what it truly was: unsubstantiated. (Big News Network)

What Happened?

Earlier this year, a lawsuit alleged that GVA made improper asset transfers to defraud creditors. These claims stemmed from materials taken out of context and modified to present a false narrative. The allegations made headlines and sparked questions from investors, partners, and the broader real estate community. (Big News Network)

However, in a recent affidavit, the opposing party’s own principal confirmed that no evidence exists to support the claims of improper transfers — nor any conduct that would substantiate accusations of fraud against GVA or me. That same affidavit also helped bring the litigation to a close, with the lawsuit dismissed with prejudice by the Travis County District Court. (Big News Network)

Why This Matters

In the age of instant media and rapid online commentary, allegations — even when unproven — can damage reputations and undermine confidence. But facts matter. Truth matters. And accountability matters.

Here’s what this outcome reaffirms:

  • Robust due process works. Thorough examination and verification matter more than headlines.
  • Commitment to transparency pays off. At GVA, we have always aimed to operate in a way that stands up to scrutiny.
  • We stay focused on our mission. Serving investors, supporting communities, and building strong real estate outcomes remain our top priorities.

Looking Ahead

While this chapter is now behind us, our work continues. We remain focused on growth, innovation, and building enduring value for our partners and communities. Challenges are part of every business journey — but the way we respond defines us. I’m proud of how our team has stood firm, upheld our values, and let truth do the heavy lifting. (Big News Network)

Thank you to everyone who stood with us and to the many professionals who conduct themselves with integrity across this industry every day.

Here’s to moving forward — stronger, wiser, and fully committed to doing right by our team and our partners.
