SAN ANTONIO, TX — The Alan Stalcup Scholarship continues its mission of investing in students who are driven to grow, lead, and make a lasting impact in their communities. The program’s newest recipient, Aubrielle Saldana, is pursuing her educational goals at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where she is working toward a future dedicated to compassionate healthcare.
For Aubrielle, success has been built through determination, leadership, and a passion for making a difference.
Throughout her academic journey, Aubrielle has demonstrated the work ethic, teamwork, and leadership skills that will guide her throughout her career. Her experiences have strengthened her commitment to serving others and inspired her to pursue a profession centered on compassion and excellence.
At UTSA, Aubrielle is working toward earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). After completing her degree, she plans to gain valuable experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where she will develop the advanced critical care skills needed to care for patients during some of life’s most challenging moments.
Looking ahead, Aubrielle intends to continue her education by becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and will ultimately evaluate the possibility of pursuing medical school. Her long-term goal is to provide exceptional patient care while continually expanding her knowledge and making a meaningful impact in the healthcare field.
With the support of the Alan Stalcup Scholarship, Aubrielle can continue pursuing these ambitious goals with greater confidence, allowing her to focus on her education and the rigorous training required for a career in nursing and advanced patient care.
“My educational goal is to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and become a Registered Nurse,” Aubrielle shared. “My ultimate goal is to provide exceptional patient care, continue learning throughout my career, and make a meaningful impact in the healthcare field.”
