BISHOP, TX — The Alan Stalcup Scholarship continues its mission of investing in students who are driven to grow, lead, and make a lasting impact in their communities. The program’s newest recipient, Aubrielle Saldana, is a proud graduate of Bishop High School, where she distinguished herself through academic achievement, athletic involvement, and a commitment to serving others.
For Aubrielle, success has been built through determination, leadership, and a passion for making a difference.
Throughout high school, Aubrielle balanced academics and athletics while developing the work ethic, teamwork, and leadership skills that will guide her throughout her career. The experiences and relationships she built during these formative years have strengthened her commitment to pursuing a future dedicated to helping others through healthcare.
Her next step is earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). After graduation, Aubrielle plans to gain valuable experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where she will develop the advanced critical care skills needed to care for patients during some of their most challenging moments.
Looking ahead, Aubrielle intends to continue her education by becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and will ultimately evaluate the possibility of pursuing medical school. Her long-term goal is to provide exceptional patient care while continually expanding her knowledge and making a meaningful impact in the healthcare field.
With the support of the Alan Stalcup Scholarship, Aubrielle can continue pursuing these ambitious goals with greater confidence, allowing her to focus on her education and the rigorous training required for a career in nursing and advanced patient care.
“My educational goal is to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and become a Registered Nurse,” Aubrielle shared. “My ultimate goal is to provide exceptional patient care, continue learning throughout my career, and make a meaningful impact in the healthcare field.”
